Pham Hung Dung’s wife. Brave and powerful woman, mother of one boy that she most protected as a promise to his husband.Being lefted by her husband makes her should be able to stand and survive alone. Independent and Brave woman is the best word to describe her.
Feels that she’s more adequate to replace his husband spot as a soldier. Loving her husband and son so much because there’s no other else in the world she have better than them. One of the most beautiful girl in town and also one of the hardest to achive/grab, but Fall in love with Pham Hung dung because of his splendid talent and personality. She feels that Hung could give her something different than any other man that she like most.
She’s a fighter, she will never give up on something she believe. She’s a dreamer just like her husband.

He’s an orphans, adopted by one old photographer that makes him have a courage and willing to bet his live to take the best picture of that war.
We can say that he’s hung best friends on that war, it’s probably because of the similarity and match that they have. Although Hung always thinks that Nick is Nuts Crazy young man, but Hung trusted him so much just like Nick trusted him.
Nick took the picture of naked little girls running down on the street, she was naked because sparks of fire from Bomb exploding, touched her clothes in several place and burned it down. That picture become very famous back in Vietnam.
